We are seeking a Senior Director, AI, Data & Solutions to provide strategic leadership for our enterprise AI, Data, and Digital Solutions organization. In this role, you will shape and implement the enterprise AI and data strategy, build and lead high-performing multidisciplinary teams, drive the delivery of transformative AI and analytics solutions, and partner with executive team members to create measurable business and scientific value. You will play a critical role in helping Regeneron remain at the forefront of innovation while ensuring responsible, scalable, and secure adoption of AI and data technologies.

Discover your role:
Develop and implement a comprehensive AI, Machine Learning, and Data strategy aligned with enterprise priorities across research, development, manufacturing, commercial, and corporate functions.
Serve as an enterprise leader with vision and advocate for AI, analytics, and advanced digital solutions, translating emerging technologies into business and scientific outcomes.
Accelerate the adoption of Machine Learning, Generative AI, and advanced computational capabilities that support scientific discovery, clinical development, and operational excellence.
Design and implement scalable, cloud-native AI and data platforms that enable self-service analytics, governed data access, and rapid deployment of AI solutions.
Partner with executive leadership to shape technology and business strategy while providing trusted guidance on AI and data investments.
Lead executive communications, strategic briefings, and governance forums that provide insight into portfolio performance, business impact, and future opportunities.
Build, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of AI/ML scientists, data engineers, analytics professionals, and solution architects, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
Establish strong operating models, communities of practice, and talent development programs to support long-term organizational growth and capability building.
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of AI, Data, and Digital Solutions programs from concept through implementation and value realization.
Define and implement delivery standards, engineering procedures, and operating methodologies including Agile, MLOps, and DataOps.
Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure solution adoption, operational performance, and business outcomes.
Lead enterprise data governance, architecture, and compliance initiatives to ensure quality, security, scalability, and regulatory compliance across data and AI platforms.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies, optimizing investment portfolios, and seeing opportunities to create enterprise value through AI and data-driven solutions.
This role requires:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
Advanced degree or equivalent experience (Master's or PhD) in AI, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
15+ years of progressive experience in AI, Data Analytics, Digital Engineering, or advanced computational technologies.
10+ years of leadership experience managing large-scale teams and senior managers within complex, global organizations.
Proven experience developing and accomplishing enterprise AI, Machine Learning, and Data Analytics strategies.
Demonstrated success delivering AI and data platforms and solutions from strategy through production deployment and business value realization.
Deep expertise in AI/ML technologies including Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Agentic Systems, and MLOps platforms.
Strong experience with cloud-native data platforms and modern data architecture patterns across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
Expertise in enterprise data governance, data quality, metadata management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Broad technology acumen spanning data engineering, solution architecture, infrastructure, security, and API-based integrations.
Exceptional strategic thinking, executive presence, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership capabilities.
Experience in life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
Experience working with GxP-regulated environments and healthcare data regulations.
Relevant certifications such as AWS/Azure/GCP Machine Learning certifications, PMP, SAFe, CDMP, or related credentials.
Proven track record of converting emerging technologies into measurable business outcomes and enterprise transformation initiatives.
Ability to influence senior collaborators and lead complex digital transformation programs across global organizations.
