Regeneron is currently seeking multiple 2027 Co-ops in Analytical & Bioanalytical Sciences to join our Analytical and Biological Mass Spectrometry (ABMS), Assay Development, and R&D Chemistry teams, which develop and apply analytical, bioanalytical, and mass spectrometry-based methods to characterize therapeutic proteins, bioconjugates, and other complex biotherapeutics.
These positions offer the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.
When & where:
Location: Tarrytown, NY and Hawthorne, NY
Timeframe: Our Co-op positions are full-time and onsite from January-August (Spring-Summer), May/June-December (Summer-Fall), and August-December (Fall).

What you’ll do:
- Develop and run liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) and mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) methods to characterize therapeutic proteins, bioconjugates, and biomarkers
- Apply mass spectrometry fragmentation techniques, including collision-induced dissociation (CID) and electron-based dissociation (ExD), to characterize conjugated payloads
- Use capillary electrophoresis-mass spectrometry (CE-MS) and imaged capillary isoelectric focusing (iCIEF) to characterize protein charge variants
- Build reference databases and spectral libraries, and process and interpret mass spectrometry data to validate molecular structures
- Run high-throughput proteomics workflows using data-independent acquisition (DIA) methods and perform database searching with false discovery rate (FDR) control
- Develop and evaluate platform immunoassays, including enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and western blot methods, to support preclinical and clinical bioanalytical studies
- Support the development and purification of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) using multiple conjugation chemistries, chromatography, and peptide mapping techniques, and compare platform performance across different bioconjugate modalities
- Document experimental procedures and results, and present findings to the broader analytical sciences team
