We are seeking an Associate Scientist to join our Bioassay Group within the Therapeutic Proteins Department, supporting the discovery and development of therapeutic antibodies and cell-based therapies. In this role, you will develop and execute cell-based assays using engineered mammalian cell lines and primary human immune cells to evaluate drug candidate activity and mechanism of action, contributing to the screening, characterization, and advancement of preclinical and clinical drug candidates across Regeneron's innovative pipeline in oncology, immunology, and related therapeutic areas.

When & where:
- Shift Requirements: Full-time, standard business hours, with flexibility to support before- and after-hours executive meetings, town halls, and corporate events
- Location: On-site in Tarrytown, NY
- Flexibility & travel: Minimal to no travel; must be available on-site consistently
What you'll do:
- Culture mammalian cell lines and primary immune cells
- Generate and characterize engineered cell lines
- Develop and execute cell-based functional assays in high-throughput formats
- Perform flow cytometry and other cell-based characterization studies
- Analyze data, troubleshoot experiments, and maintain accurate records
- Present findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Must-haves:
- BS with 1+ years of relevant experience or MS in a life sciences discipline
- Experience with mammalian cell culture and cell engineering techniques
- Experience with cell-based assays and data analysis
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Scientifically curious, eager to learn new technologies, and capable of effectively collaborating across multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects, interpret complex data, and present scientific findings to cross-functional stakeholders
Preferred / nice-to-haves:
- Flow cytometry experience
- Knowledge of immunology and immune cell functional assays

Salary Range (annually)
$70,300.00 - $110,100.00
