We are seeking a Director, Commercial Solutions to join our Global Commercial Digital & Technology organization. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for building and scaling commercial technology capabilities within our Global Capability Center while serving as a strategic partner to global business and technology leaders. You will lead the delivery of innovative technology, data, and AI-enabled solutions that support commercial operations, customer engagement, analytics, market access, and patient services. Discover your role:
Lead and scale the Commercial Digital & Technology organization within the Global Capability Center, fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and innovation culture.
Build and expand commercial technology capabilities through hiring, onboarding, talent development, and organizational design.
Partner with global commercial and technology leaders to define and implement business-aligned technology strategies that support commercial growth objectives.
Lead end-to-end technology, architecture, data, and solution delivery across Agile and traditional delivery models.
Deliver and optimize commercial technology platforms including CRM, customer engagement, commercial analytics, data management, incentive compensation, and omnichannel solutions.
Establish operational excellence through delivery governance, performance metrics, process improvement, and continuous optimization.
Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, data privacy requirements, commercial governance frameworks, and audit readiness standards.
Drive adoption of AI and Generative AI capabilities by identifying practical business use cases while ensuring compliance in regulated commercial environments.
Act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders by translating complex business challenges into scalable and actionable technology solutions.
Communicate effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams across global regions, driving alignment and informed decision-making.
This role requires:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Significant leadership experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical and biotechnology commercial operations, including Sales, Marketing, Omnichannel Engagement, Market Access, Commercial Analytics, Commercial Operations, and Patient Services.
Experience leading large-scale technology organizations and global delivery teams across architecture, engineering, and data rigors.
Strong understanding of commercial technology ecosystems including Veeva CRM, Salesforce platforms, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, master data management, commercial analytics, and customer engagement solutions.
Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations including GDPR, HIPAA, consent management, transparency requirements, and commercial compliance standards.
Experience establishing and expanding Global Capability Center (GCC) organizations or similar global operating models.
Demonstrated experience evaluating, implementing, and governing AI and Generative AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.
Proven ability to influence senior collaborators and operate effectively within complex global matrix environments.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational leadership, and executive communication skills.
