Supervisor Facilities Inventory

We are seeking a Facilities Inventory Supervisor to lead storeroom operations and ensure maintenance, engineering, and operations teams have timely access to the materials, tools, and spare parts they need. • Location: Rensselaer, New York, United States
• Work model: On-site Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

Discover your role:

• Supervise, coach, and develop Facilities Inventory staff, and manage staffing, scheduling, and workload prioritization
• Oversee daily storeroom operations, including material receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations, and develop stocking strategies that support operations
• Partner with Maintenance and Engineering teams to ensure critical spare parts and materials are available for preventive, corrective, and emergency repairs
• Use data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy, service levels, and storeroom performance
• Support inventory system optimization, ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards, and report on operational performance
• May involve working off-shift to support 24/7 coverage

This role requires:

• Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field, and 5+ years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience); Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, maintenance support, or related operational environments; pharma/biotech/manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience with ERP, CMMS, or similar inventory management systems
• Strong leadership, planning, data analysis, and cross-functional communication skills, with a continuous improvement mindset
