At Regeneron, we are building a world-class Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad that serves as a strategic hub for innovation, technology, and business operations. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Strategy Planning & Operations to partner closely with GCC leadership and global stakeholders in driving operational excellence, external partnerships, ecosystem engagement, and strategic growth initiatives. This role will play a critical part in shaping the GCC's long-term value proposition through government and industry engagement, university partnerships, performance management, and cross-functional operational leadership.

Discover your role:

  • Serve as a strategic advisor and operational partner to GCC leadership, driving initiatives that advance organizational growth, collaborator engagement, and business performance.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, industry associations, and regulatory bodies to support GCC growth strategies and policy engagement.

  • Represent the GCC at industry forums, leadership summits, and external events while seeing opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and ecosystem partnerships.

  • Establish and manage relationships with leading universities and academic institutions to strengthen talent pipelines, research collaborations, internship programs, and employer branding initiatives.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and University Relations teams to develop and implement campus engagement strategies aligned with workforce planning objectives.

  • Develop and own GCC performance dashboards, tracking metrics such as headcount growth, attrition, productivity, cost efficiency, hiring outcomes, and strategic breakthroughs.

  • Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with GCC and global leadership teams, providing insights, recommendations, and operational performance updates.

  • Identify operational and strategic risks across the GCC and coordinate mitigation plans with HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Compliance, Facilities, and business collaborators.

  • Define and communicate the GCC value story by demonstrating business impact, innovation outcomes, capability growth, and operational excellence to global headquarters.

  • Partner with Finance to develop cases, return on investment analyses, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) assessments, and annual value-delivery reports.

  • Drive the GCC operating rhythm by managing leadership reviews, governance forums, town halls, quarterly business reviews, and critical initiative tracking.

  • Prepare leadership communications, executive briefings, presentations, and materials for high-priority engagements including board reviews, industry forums, and leadership meetings.

  • Manage strategic projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, breakthroughs, budgets, risks, and collaborator expectations are effectively managed.

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions that enhance organizational effectiveness.

This role requires:

  • MBA or equivalent experience or equivalent postgraduate degree from a reputed institution; Tier-1 institution preferred.

  • 8-10+ years of progressive experience in strategy, business operations, consulting, program management, or GCC/captive center leadership environments.

  • Demonstrated experience working with government agencies, industry associations, regulatory bodies, or external collaborator ecosystems.

  • Experience developing and managing university partnership programs, talent ecosystem initiatives, or workforce development collaborations.

  • Strong expertise in KPI development, dashboard reporting, business reviews, and executive-level performance reporting.

  • Financial and business insight with the ability to translate operational performance into strategic and value-based narratives.

  • Experience managing complex projects across multiple cross-functional collaborators in a matrixed environment.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, business intelligence tools, and executive storytelling.

  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.

  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to influence across diverse internal and external partner groups.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize competing demands, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong understanding of the Hyderabad GCC ecosystem, technology landscape, and industry trends is highly desirable.

  • Strategic problem solver with a bias for execution, continuous improvement, and measurable business impact.
