We are seeking a Director, Strategy & Planning to join our Program & Portfolio Management Team, supporting our VP within Global Development, in an on-site work model. In this role, you will lead strategic initiatives, goal setting, resource and finance management, and cross-functional alignment while collaborating with the functional Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Extended Leadership Team (ELT), and enterprise partners across Global Development.

  • Location: Tarrytown, NY (on-site; remote work is not possible for this role)
  • Work model/flexibility: Hybrid
  • Travel percentage: Up to 25%

Discover your role:

  • Partner with the VP and SLT to govern, develop, and deliver on strategic imperatives and enterprise objectives
  • Spearhead global initiatives, tracking projects through to realization of benefit across the wider Regeneron enterprise
  • Facilitate goal-setting and track progress, escalating issues to SLT in a timely way
  • Build and maintain dashboards and management reports that turn KPIs into decisions
  • Coordinate resource and budget planning, including headcount needs and sourcing model evaluation
  • Lead SLT and ELT meetings end-to-end, from agenda-setting through action-item follow-up
  • Represent the functional SLT at delegated meetings and events
  • Shift nimbly between strategic and tactical priorities in a fast-changing, amiguous environment

This role requires:

  • BS degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 12+ years of relevant in-house pharmaceutical experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of the drug development process and program/portfolio management, primarily in clinical development but across the asset lifecycle
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
  • Proficiency with MS applications (Teams, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Salary Range (annually)

$183,100.00 - $305,200.00
