Medical Director, Clinical Development, Hematology Oncology

We are seeking a Medical Director, Clinical Sciences to join our Global Clinical Development team, supporting our Hematology Oncology programs. In this role, you will serve as clinical leader for a section of a clinical program, driving execution and clinical deliverables while collaborating with Clinical Scientists, Clinical Operations, Research, Medical Affairs, and external experts including regulatory authorities and key opinion leaders.   • Location: Tarrytown, NY or Warren, NJ
  • Travel percentage: 10% to relevant conferences

Discover your role:

  • Lead clinical strategy and deliverables for an assigned section of a clinical program
  • Drive execution across trial phases in partnership with global line functions
  • Guide and support assigned Clinical Scientists and Clinical Operations associates
  • Represent the program in interactions with regulatory authorities, key opinion leaders, and advisory boards
  • Partner cross-functionally with Research, Early Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and HE&OR
  • Contribute to internal decision boards shaping program direction
  • Shape Global Clinical Development standards by authoring or reviewing SOPs
  • Participate in training programs and strategic taskforces that advance clinical development practices

This role requires:

  • MD or equivalent medical degree with clinical Residency training
  • Hematology or Oncology fellowship training strongly preferred
  • More than 2 years of experience in clinical research or drug development (academic or industry), spanning Phases I through IV
  • Medical/scientific expertise in the disease area of the assigned program, hematologic malignancies, preferred
