Functieomschrijving
Build our future together:
We are looking for a Senior Specialist, Talent Operations to serve as a senior operational authority for Regeneron’s expanded Talent organization, reporting to the Manager, Talent Operations and Solutions. This role owns the data accuracy, vendor relationships, and process quality behind the events, procurement, and programs that enable our Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Culture & Inclusion, and Learning & Development teams to deliver on their strategic priorities. You’ll evaluate how things run today, spot where processes break down across teams or geographies, and recommend fixes that hold up broadly — managing enterprise-facing events, owning the purchase order process end to end, building playbooks, and mentoring newer team members along the way.
When & where:
- Location: Sleepy Hollow, NY
- Work model: Onsite 4 days per week
Discover your role:
Event Planning & Execution
- Lead end-to-end logistics for enterprise-facing Talent events — leadership convenings, offsites, learning forums, recruiting/campus events, and signature internal conferences — and continuously improve event playbooks for consistency across teams.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex logistical, vendor, or stakeholder issues, partnering with external vendors and cross-functional teams (AV, Security, Facilities, Creative Services, Procurement) to keep deliverables on track.
- Oversee post-event logistics, asset management, and reporting to keep attendance, spend, and outcome data accurate for future planning.
Procurement & Purchase Order Administration
Own and administer the purchase order process for the Talent organization, ensuring data accuracy and integrity of PO and spend records across all four functions.
- Advise stakeholders on procurement policy and vendor contract considerations, and continuously improve PO workflows and vendor management practices across the function.
- Prepare metrics, analytics, and dashboards on committed and actual spend to support budget decisions and flag risk early.
Operations & Program Infrastructure
- Own data accuracy and integrity across the Talent portfolio’s operational infrastructure — workplans, trackers, calendars, status updates, and decision records.
- Resolve escalated inquiries from Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Culture & Inclusion, and Learning & Development that require deeper program or policy knowledge.
- Mentor less experienced coordinators and associates, serving as a subject matter resource on tools, systems, and processes.
TA Systems, Vendor & Candidate Support
- Support enhancements to TA’s core systems (ATS, CRM, CMS), including issue resolution, reporting, and administration.
- Own vendor relationships for the recruiting technology stack — product updates, contract renewals, and business reviews.
- Serve as point of contact for external candidate inquiries, partnering with the careers website team to resolve issues.
This role requires:
- BS/BA in a related field plus 5+ years of experience in program operations, event management, HR/People operations, procurement administration, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in procedure writing, auditing, HRIS/TA systems, or vendor management.
- Experience owning or administering a purchase order, procurement, or budget-tracking process.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to advise stakeholders confidently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel in particular) and comfort working in Teams/SharePoint and managing trackers.
- Familiarity with Workday, Beamery, or similar HR/talent platforms, and enterprise procurement/invoicing systems.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or large matrixed organizations.
