We're looking for an Executive Director, Portfolio, Value Realization, Strategy & Ops to join our fast-moving Enterprise Data & AI organization. You'll act as the internal strategist and investment steward for our enterprise AI and data agenda, owning the roadmap, investment prioritization, and ROI tracking that ensures every AI dollar delivers measurable value. You'll serve as the key connector between the AI portfolio and executive stakeholders, telling a clear story of where we're investing, what it's returning, and what comes next. This role reports to the SVP, Chief AI Officer, and offers the chance to shape how a science-driven company invests in its AI future.

  • Location: Sleepy Hollow NY
  • Work model/flexibility: 4 days a week on-site

Discover your role:

  • Own the enterprise AI and data roadmap, turning business and scientific priorities into a sequenced, well-justified portfolio
  • Lead planning and review processes for the Enterprise Data & AI organization, including annual planning and quarterly reviews
  • Manage AI and data initiatives as a disciplined investment portfolio, with clear sponsors and outcomes for each
  • Build and run a value realization framework that ties every AI initiative to a measurable business result
  • Set enterprise strategy for generative AI tools, including buy, license, or build decisions and total cost modeling
  • Lead the enterprise AI product management function, including roadmaps and adoption accountability
  • Manage vendor relationships across the AI tools landscape, including negotiations and performance tracking
  • Serve as the main point of contact for executive stakeholders on AI strategy, performance, and investment decisions

  • Bring strong strategic and financial thinking, including modeling trade-offs and building ROI frameworks
  • Stay current on the AI landscape, including generative AI, agentic systems, and enterprise AI platforms
  • Know how to build product management practices for AI capabilities
  • Can influence and build trust across a matrixed organization without relying on formal authority
  • Bring genuine curiosity about how AI is transforming drug discovery and clinical development
  • Enjoy developing and growing strategy and product talent

This role requires:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field (advanced degree required for certain scientific or clinical positions)
  • 17+ years of experience in enterprise strategy, portfolio management, or AI/data leadership
