We are seeking a Manager, Country Marketing, Oncology to join our Commercial Oncology team, supporting our Japan business in a hybrid work mode. In this role, you will lead local oncology brand marketing strategy and execution across commercialised indications and future launches, while collaborating with cross-functional and cross-regional collaborators including Medical Affairs and the Sales Team. When & where:
Japan. Hybrid work model. Travel required 30–40%, including some weekends for conferences and meetings.
Discover your role:
- Lead local oncology brand strategy and provide input to global brand plans.
- Drive the brand planning process, analysing competition and identifying promotional opportunities.
- Partner with Medical Affairs to create and agree an aligned brand strategy.
- Deliver external collaborator engagement plans, including national congresses and HCP meetings.
- Manage the local promotional budget and spend against approved limits.
- You develop customer-focused, differentiated messages for key target audiences.
- You collaborate with the Sales Team on Field Plans of Action and communications.
- You uphold the highest ethical and compliance standards in every action.
This role requires:
- Bachelor's degree, with preference for a science background.
- 5+ years of biotech or pharmaceutical brand marketing experience.
- Working knowledge of local healthcare compliance codes and promotional regulations.
- Expertise managing advertising agencies and suppliers, and developing annual budgets.
- Excellent planning, prioritization, communication and presentation skills.
- Written and spoken English language skills.
- Oncology marketing experience preferred; product launch experience a plus.
