Calibration Tech

When & where:

• Shift Requirements: 24/7
• Location: Raheen, Limerick

What you’ll do:

• Complying with site safety policies and striving to maintain an accident free environment.
• Ensuring documentation of maintenance activities to cGMP’s standards both in paper based records and the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Maintaining the physical condition and environment of all areas.
• Providing Instrumentation/Calibration support to Facilities, Quality Assurance Team, Engineering and Operations.
• Adhering to assigned IOPS plant and department SOPs and required trainings as related to positional and department responsibilities; maintaining an up-to-date training file to ensure compliance.
• Supporting continuous improvement, 5S and Lean initiatives.
• Communicating with mid and senior management within the facilities department.
• Occasionally working on other Process/Utility/Facility related work tasks/issues that are outside the calibration department’s normal work duties.

The environment and physical rhythms of this role:

• You have the skills to work with automated control systems and with low voltages.
• You are capable of performing loop check, tune, troubleshoot, and startup of instrumentation.
• You pose the expertise to calibrate various types of instrumentation including temperature, pressure, level, flow and analytical instruments.

• A relevant recognised Trade qualification, third level qualification is preferred; along with 2+ years of experience in a similar position. Will substitute additional relevant experience for educational requirement.
