This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.

When & where:

  • Location: Raheen, Limerick

What you’ll do:

  • Supporting the definition and implementation of the global Direct Category strategy to serve global and regional business needs.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to support discussions related to the Direct Categories and aligning priorities with Procurement management and stakeholders.
  • Assisting negotiations, supplier management activities, and stakeholder engagement activities for the Direct Category as assigned.
  • Generate value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities.
  • Supporting Global Procurement by participating in decisions in the Direct categories with critical short and long-term impact on the success, efficiency, growth, and results of the category team.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of efficient global procurement organisations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Procurement organisation and using this knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron.
  • Contributing to category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations, as applicable.
  • Using data to drive decision-making for successful category projects.

  • Establishing relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to get results for Regeneron.
  • The candidate should demonstrate success supporting cross-functional teams to drive results in Direct categories or related categories through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
  • Providing insights on rates, unit costs, and costing structures for efficient negotiations.
  • Use external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to constantly improve Regeneron’s knowledge of supply market dynamics.
  • Experience operating with integrity, focus, and clarity in an environment of ambiguity to inspire change and improvement.
  • Proven success supporting the global supply market evaluation process using all available market intelligence, risk, compliance, and financial assessment tools.

  • The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus relevant, progressive experience in procurement, including experience in Pharma/BioPharma.
  • You are proficient with sourcing contracting tools, ERP’s, and eRFx systems preferred (Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, Other).
  • Ability to harness standard business applications for communicating, presenting and analyzing data (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
