QC Analyst - Bioassay

At Regeneron, we use science and innovation to develop life-changing medicines for people with serious diseases. Regeneron is currently seeking a QC Analyst - Bioassay to join our QC Biology and Biochemistry team.

When & where:

• Location: Raheen, Limerick.

What you’ll do:

• Conducting tests on, in-process, release, stability, and/or research samples.
• Gathering data and documents test results for techniques such as cell-based potency and ELISA for Bioassay.
• Performing cell biology techniques such as mammalian cell culture, preparing reagent aliquots and media for use in cell-based assays.
• Reviewing test results to ensure compliance with standards; reports any quality anomalies.
• Complying with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements.
• Conducting testing on in-process, product, stability, and/or research samples.
• Writing and revising control test procedures and SOPs.
• Completing test records and reviews data.
• Calibrating or verifying calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.
• May assist in validation of methods.
• Involved in establishing the transfer of methodology from R&D.

The environment and physical rhythms of this role:

• Strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to organise and maintain data or information.
• Ability to learn through observation and hands on experience.
• Preferably experience with molecular biology and cell biology techniques such as ELISA, Bioassay and mammalian cell culture.

• Experience with electronic systems such as LIMS, ViCell, SoftMax, Hamilton Venus, Labware is an advantage.
