Sr Senior Scientist – Autoimmunity, Immunology and Inflammation

Descrizione del lavoro

Candidati ora

Do you want to help uncover the biology behind inflammatory and autoimmune diseases—and turn those insights into medicines that could change patients’ lives? Regeneron’s Immunology and Inflammation team is seeking a Senior Scientist to lead innovative research programs that connect deep mechanistic biology with therapeutic discovery. In this role, you will shape experimental strategy, design rigorous in vitro and in vivo studies, interrogate novel immune pathways, and collaborate with talented scientists across disciplines to advance high-impact programs in Regeneron’s pipeline. This is an opportunity for a creative, hands-on, hypothesis-driven scientist to do ambitious science in a collaborative environment where strong ideas can rapidly influence drug discovery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead complex in vivo studies in mouse models of inflammatory disease to evaluate therapeutic efficacy, define mechanism of action, and generate decision-enabling data.

  • Build and optimize primary cell-based assays and high-content immunological readouts, including multi-parameter flow cytometry, ELISA/MSD, and histology, to interrogate cytokine and immunoreceptor pathways.

  • Influence project direction by interpreting complex datasets, integrating emerging literature, and communicating clear scientific recommendations to project teams, leadership, and external collaborators.

  • Mentor junior scientists and research associates while contributing to an inclusive, collaborative culture that values scientific rigor and curiosity.

This role could be a great fit if:

  • You are an independent, hypothesis-driven scientist who enjoys shaping research questions, designing rigorous experiments, and troubleshooting complex programs from concept through readout.

  • You are energized by cross-functional collaboration and know how to partner across disciplines to move discovery programs forward.

  • You bring deep immunology expertise, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to translate complex data into clear scientific conclusions.

  • You are intellectually curious, adaptable, and comfortable learning new approaches as scientific questions and program priorities evolve.

  • You are motivated by the chance to connect discovery science with therapeutic impact for patients.

To be considered for this role, you should have a PhD in Immunology, Biology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, or a related discipline, or an MS with at least 8 years of relevant industry or academic research experience. Hands-on expertise with mouse models of inflammatory diseases, multi-parameter flow cytometry, primary cell culture and cell-based assays, ELISA/MSD, and standard molecular techniques is required. A strong peer-reviewed publication record and demonstrated ability to lead independent research programs are essential.
