We are seeking an Associate Manager Global Procurement Facilities Capital & Logistics to join our Global Procurement team, supporting our global Facilities, Capital & Logistics categories in a hybrid work model. In this role, you will support global category strategy, sourcing, negotiations, supplier management, and procurement decisions while collaborating with customers, suppliers, Procurement colleagues, and the Law department. Discover your role:
Support the definition and implementation of global Facilities, Capital & Logistics category strategies aligned with global and regional business needs.
Partner with team members and Procurement leadership to align category priorities and manage category-related discussions.
Manage sourcing activities, supplier relationships, negotiations, and stakeholder engagement across assigned categories.
Drive value through cost savings, cash flow improvements, and operational efficiencies from category management initiatives.
Negotiate contract terms and conditions in collaboration with the Law department to support business requirements.
Use data, market insights, and supplier engagement to guide category decisions and improve procurement outcomes.
Coach procurement technical skills across the Global Procurement organization and contribute to team capability development.
Bring integrity, focus, and clarity to help motivate change and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.
This role requires:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
Relevant progressive procurement experience, including experience within the Pharma or BioPharma industry.
Experience managing category processes and suppliers across multiple categories.
Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams to deliver results across Facilities, Capital & Logistics categories or related categories through sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
Knowledge of rates, unit costs, and costing structures to support effective negotiations.
Experience using external data sources, market intelligence, supplier engagement, and supply market insights to support category strategies.
Demonstrated success supporting global supply market evaluation using market intelligence, risk, compliance, and financial assessment tools.
Experience supporting key supplier relationship management activities.
Experience operating effectively with integrity, focus, and clarity in environments of ambiguity and change.
Experience managing associate-level professionals preferred.
Working knowledge of sourcing and contracting tools, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and electronic Request for Proposal (eRFX) platforms, including Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, or similar systems.
Ability to employ standard business applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for communication, presentation, and analysis.
Strong data-driven decision-making skills for category management and procurement projects.
