Associate Scientist, Immunology & Inflammation

We are seeking an Associate Scientist working in the field of Allergy to join our highly collaborative Immunology & Inflammation team. In this role, you will support a broad pipeline by executing in vivo experiments in mice and in vitro assays, while communicating openly and frequently with your manager and team members in a team-driven environment.

Discover your role:

• Work with mice, demonstrating proper handling and care, general surgical techniques, and collection of blood and tissue samples
• Conduct cell culture and in vitro experiments
• Maintain lab and equipment, and order supplies/reagents to support a safe, effective, and efficient working environment
• Develop new methods or technologies and troubleshoot to advance project goals
• Maintain accurate and complete laboratory records
• Interpret, analyze, and present research data with confidence
• Thrive in an innovative, fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• Stay highly organized, flexible, and motivated as priorities shift

This role requires:

• BS/MS with 1-4 years of experience in allergy, asthma, or immunology
• Proven experience in tissue culture (maintenance of transformed and primary cells) and cell-based assays
• Experience with flow cytometry, ELISA, and MSD
• Basic computer skills and experience collecting and analyzing biological data
• Preferred: training in proper handling and care of mice, general surgical techniques, and collection of blood and tissue samples
• Preferred: experience with GraphPad Prism, FlowJo, SoftMax Pro, and Meso Scale Discovery (MSD) Workbench software
