The HCP Contract Manager, is tasked with coordinating, progressing, and managing HCP contracting tasks and activities assigned to the HCP Sponsor, ensuring their active participation and decision-making. This position will play a key role in the facilitation and oversight all HCP consultancy agreements and engagement activities (agreements including but not limited to Steering committee, Advisory Board, IDMC, etc.), collaborating closely with Clinical Study team, Commercial Operations HCP team, Finance, Corporate Compliance, and Legal to coordinate any associated HCP event planning needs.
A typical day in this role looks like:
- Acting as a delegate for the HCP contracting Sponsor, ensure that all business-facing and other process requirements / information is available and entered into Regeneron Systems (i.e Engage platform) completely and in a timely manner to ensure efficient progression of all assigned HCP contracts
- Diligently manage all HCP contracting tasks and activities assigned to the HCP Sponsor, ensuring their informed participation and involvement in decision-making throughout the process
- Independently manage assigned business functions, ensuring continuous and active engagement to proactively address the HCP contractual needs of Sponsor stakeholders
- Gather, maintain, and report on future-period planned HCP engagements to the Commercial HCP Contracting team to assist them with developing annual HCP budget / forecast needs
- Cultivate and sustain strong business relationships with internal support functions engaged in the HCP contracting process to ensure contracts progress efficiently and timely to execution and ultimately through close-out (e.g., Commercial Operations HCP team, Finance, Corporate Compliance, Legal, etc.)
- Identify opportunities for process improvement throughout the HCP contract lifecycle and develop effective business cases along with initial ideas for potential solutions
- Develop high-level subject matter expertise within assigned business functions to ensure a comprehensive understanding, enabling better anticipation of operational needs that may lead to HCP contractual requests
- Manage and lead a team of HCP Contract Specialists and provide oversight, onboarding, training, and support as needed
In order to be considered qualified for this role a minimum of a Bachelors degree and 6+ years of relevant industry related experience is required.
