At Regeneron, we use science and innovation to develop life-changing medicines for people with serious diseases. Regeneron is currently seeking multiple 2027 Co-ops in Downstream Purification & Bioconjugate Process Development to join our Preclinical Manufacturing and Process Development (PMPD) team, which develops the manufacturing processes used to scale up and produce Regeneron's medicines.

When & where:

Location: Tarrytown, NY

Timeframe: Our Co-op positions are full-time and onsite from January-August (Spring-Summer), May/June-December (Summer-Fall), and August-December (Fall).

Pay: Intern and Co-op pay ranges are determined by level of education (year in school) and degree program. The hourly rate range for these locations is: $17.90-$50.90 per hour.


What you’ll do:

  • Support the purification of medicines using chromatography, filtration, and resin-development techniques
  • Develop and qualify new analytical resins and liquid chromatography methods used to evaluate process impurities
  • Contribute to chemistry work used to attach drug payloads to antibodies and characterize resulting impurities
  • Run small-scale lab experiments to evaluate purification process performance
  • Analyze historical process data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with process scientists and engineers to solve purification challenges
  • Document experimental results and contribute to technical reports
  • Present findings to the broader development team

Relevant majors: Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences

  • Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree (and be returning to school the semester following the position or graduating after the position)
  • Must be able to commit to 40 hours per week from January-August, May/June-December, or August-December
  • Demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports, current or previous work, or within the community preferred
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
