As a Senior Director, Medical Eduction you will unify our strategy, planning, execution, and outcomes evaluation for educational grant funding measuring healthcare professional behavior change and clinical outcomes. This involves directing a Grant Strategy team delivering compliant, high-impact funding decisions and portfolio results. Operating within governance and compliance frameworks, the role aligns therapeutic area needs, monitors grant implementation, and uses cross-functional and external collaboration maximizing and demonstrating value.

A typical day in this role might include:
• Setting direction for our Grant Strategy establishing standards and operating principles.
• Driving concise communications, presentations, and appropriate information flow with internal collaborators, executive leadership, and Alliance partners.
• Defining and funding the medical education strategy, aligning plans and budgets to therapeutic priorities and educational gaps; lead Grant Review Committee (GRC); partner with Medical Affairs and Legal/Compliance driving timely, consistent funding decisions.
• Ensure delivery quality and integrity across funded initiatives, monitoring scope, balance, and learner experience.
• Translate outcomes into strategic insight—partner with Analytics to quantify behavior and clinical impact, build dashboards and return on education (ROE) measures reporting performance.
• Actively participate in Medical Education Leadership team responsible for strategic oversight, value proposition review, and executive presentations.
• Manage and mentor direct reports, setting objectives, providing oversight, feedback, and supporting professional growth.
• Stay current with trends in professional education and new innovative learning formats that drive HCP behavior change and close educational gaps.
• Master and stay current with scientific and medical advances in assigned therapeutic areas.
• Assign and lead special projects or initiatives as assigned by management.
• Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, industry codes, and internal policies governing medical education grants and transparency reporting; uphold organizational standards.
• Foster and adhere to a “one-team principle” across all Global Medical Education and beyond.

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelors degree with an advanced degree being preferred. It is required to have 15+ years of professional medical education and organization leadership experience in roles of increasing accountability. Proficiency in principles of adult and clinical learning, and outcomes methodology. Expertise with medical and regulatory affairs, drug development, FDA and regulatory guidelines (i.e., PhRMA guidelines, OIG, AMA, ACCME, Sunshine Act, etc.)
