The postdoctoral fellow position is for early career scientist trainees who have finished graduate school and received their PhDs (or MDs, DVMs, etc.) to receive rigorous scientific postdoctoral training at Regeneron under the auspices of a scientist mentor. The program spans up to four years. We are looking for Fellows who are dedicated to seeing their research project and manuscript to completion. Fellows will be expected to conduct creative mechanistic exploratory research that results in publication. The program is academic in nature - the goal is to ask fundamental questions - not to work on Regeneron therapeutic agents.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct forward-looking and innovative research to address a novel scientific question of your choice with the guidance of a mentor.

• Receive exposure to the biotechnology industry's most successful and innovative scientists.

• Explore opportunities to pursue groundbreaking, creative biomedical research in a prestigious, well-resourced, and dynamic industry environment.

• Publish and disseminate data via external conferences and peer-reviewed publications.

• Have the opportunity to assist with mentoring and guiding interns and other junior trainees.

• Participate in postdoctoral program activities such as weekly meetings, the annual research conference, and the Postdoc Retreat.

• Present data internally at lab meetings, trainee meetings, and company-wide seminars.

• Provide reports of research progress to supervisors and program staff.

• Travel to attend or present at conferences outside Regeneron one to two times year.

• Are pursuing a doctoral degree in a relevant subject area with an expected graduation date in 2027.

• Are a scientist looking for your first postdoctoral training (or you have less than one year of postdoctoral training).

• Have outstanding scientific skills, including critical and analytical thinking.

• Demonstrated publication success as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications.

• Have good written and oral communication skills.

• Have the ability to interact dynamically and constructively with peers and cross-functionally when applicable.

• At least two letters of recommendation

• Responses to two essay questions


Important Information about our Process:

• Within one business day of applying, you will receive an email with instructions on completing your essay questions and uploading documents.

• All documents must be submitted no later than November 23, 2026; Applications received after November 23, 2026 may not be considered.

• Following the close date, please allow 2-3 months for review and interviews.

• Initial interviews will take place virtually in January 2027.

• Final round interviews will take place in person in Tarrytown in February 2027.

• Targeted Start Date: Summer 2027, but the start date is flexible – depending on when you finish defending your graduate thesis or finish up prior manuscripts. Must start by November 1, 2027.

Please note that the starting salary for this role is $95,000.
