We are seeking an Associate Manager Business Intelligence Architecture Analytics to join our Data, Tech, and Innovation function, supporting our Global Development analytics initiatives in a hybrid work mode. In this role, you will lead the execution of analytical datasets, data models, and data products while collaborating with the Senior Manager, Business Intelligence Architect, Specialist Business Intelligence Architect, Director of BI Architecture, and downstream analytics teams. Discover your role:
- Coordinate work with the Senior Manager and Specialist Business Intelligence Architects to align deliverables with project requirements and development standards.
- Escalate architectural decisions and delivery blockers appropriately to support timely project execution.
- Build, refine, and maintain data pipelines and transformation workflows in Databricks and Snowflake using SQL and PySpark.
- Develop and unit test analytical data models and curated datasets, including migration of existing workflows to Databricks.
- Implement reusable, well-structured code aligned with established development standards, naming conventions, and architecture patterns.
- Own end-to-end delivery of assigned data products and support analytics, dashboarding, and artificial intelligence/machine learning use cases.
- Ensure dataset accuracy and completeness through validation, data quality checks, discrepancy investigation, and root cause analysis while maintaining structured documentation for downstream teams.
- You bring a collaborative approach and focus on delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires:
- Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in data analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Managerial experience.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data engineering and analytics workflows.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and interpret complex datasets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights into business value.
- Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and dashboard creation preferred.
- Experience working with Databricks in addition to Snowflake preferred.
- Experience developing data products for artificial intelligence use cases and integrating artificial intelligence into business reporting tools preferred.
- Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining preferred.
- Familiarity with clinical trial operational data preferred.
- Collaborative and team-oriented attitude with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
