The Associate Manager, Business Operations supports the development and execution of Business Operations functions, including data analysis, metrics reporting, process documentation, and project coordination. Under the guidance of senior team members, this individual contributes to operational initiatives, assists with vendor management activities, and helps drive efficiency improvements across the Global Development portfolio. This role is designed for emerging professionals who bring analytical rigor, collaborative energy, and a desire to grow within the pharmaceutical development operations environment.

- Location: onsite in either Armonk, NY or Tarrytown, NY
Discover your role:
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing operational and financial data to support metrics reporting and performance tracking.
- Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools that monitor key Business Operations performance indicators.
- Contribute to process documentation efforts, including drafting standard operating procedures, process maps, and training materials.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, prepare agendas, capture minutes, and track action items for internal and cross-functional team meetings.
- Assist with vendor management activities, including data collection, invoice tracking, and basic performance monitoring.
- Support resource planning efforts by compiling headcount and capacity data for review by senior team members.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects, contributing analysis and project coordination support.
- Assist in managing select internal systems and tracking tools to ensure timely and accurate updates.
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs needed for reporting and operational projects.
- Proactively identify data gaps or process inefficiencies and bring observations to manager for review.
This role requires:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) required, or MBA expected within 12 months of hire
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required Minimum of 4 years of industry experience required (pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, consulting, or related field). Experience in clinical operations, business analytics, or project coordination preferred
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with comfort working with data sets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with data visualization tools a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Collaborative team player who can work across functions
- Proactive mindset and ability to work under guidance to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated interest in pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical operations
- Intellectual curiosity and a continuous improvement orientation
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
