The Director, New Products and Commercial Development leads commercial strategy and value maximization for key pipeline assets within Regeneron's portfolio. Partnering closely with Clinical Development and other key functions, the role shapes strategic vision, informs development decisions, and advances early launch planning for high-priority programs spanning various stages of development.

Discover your role:
- Provide commercial leadership to shape the strategic vision, program strategy, value proposition, and development plan of early and pre-launch development programs
- Communicate a clear, well-reasoned commercial perspective to development leadership as a core member of cross-functional Strategic Program Teams
- Lead key commercial deliverables as needed for each stage of development, including target product profile (TPP) development, positioning/key claims, brand naming, launch readiness and lifecycle optimization
- Collaborate with marketing research, analytics, strategic analysis and competitive intelligence to develop strategic insights and ensure fact-based decision making and forecasting
- Contribute commercial insights to program related decision points on device, formulation, dosing frequency, packaging, distribution channel and other critical product attributes
- Provide commercial input to clinical trial design, endpoint selection and prioritization, to ensure programs may deliver competitive claims
- Partner with Market Access and HEOR teams to build differentiated value propositions and indications prioritizations to support optimal access in US and International markets
- Develop commercialization plans in partnership with key functions, including Marketing, Access, Insights, Medical, Communications, Legal, Regulatory, and Sales
- Present to commercial and development leadership as needed
- Support business development activities in aligned therapeutic areas, including diligence and commercial case development
This role requires:
- 12+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience, including at least 10 years of pharmaceutical marketing and/or related commercial experience
- Experience in new product commercialization and/or launching new pharmaceutical or biotech products is strongly preferred
- Strong scientific acumen with knowledge of immunology/inflammation and/or obesity disease areas
- Working knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment governing pharmaceutical and biotech commercialization
- Background in industry-relevant consulting, investment analysis, health economics and outcomes research, or related fields is a plus
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functionally, building strong relationships across internal teams, alliance partners, and health care providers, with strong learning agility
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with business and scientific acumen, translating complex data and clinical information into clear, actionable recommendations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, independently managing multiple projects against tight deadlines
- Need to be entrepreneurial and innovative, with strong written and verbal communication skills
