Senior Manager, Global Development IT & Digital

We are seeking a Global Development IT & Digital Manager to join our Global Clinical Development, Safety, Regulatory & Medical Affairs team, supporting our Tokyo, Japan operations in a hybrid work model. In this role, you will bridge IT and business to deliver high-value solutions while collaborating with global and local stakeholders. Discover your role:

• Partner with local business units to understand goals, challenges, and regulatory needs, delivering tailored IT solutions.
• Formulate and execute IT action plans aligned with global and local strategies, ensuring timely and detailed implementation.
• Drive IT-based business improvements by integrating automation, data utilization, and cloud technologies.
• Manage IT projects and products in collaboration with Global GDIT, ensuring compliance with GxP regulations.
• Lead the creation and management of computer system validation (CSV) processes in collaboration with IT QA and Clinical Quality.
• Promote digital transformation by leveraging AI, data analytics, and cloud technologies to improve efficiency.
• Facilitate global communication through effective presentations and coordination with international teams.
• You demonstrate structured thinking and thoughtful communication, bridging IT and business perspectives.

This role requires:

• Over 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical IT for development and medical departments.
• Strong understanding of drug development, clinical trials, and medical affairs processes.
• Experience as an IT business analyst, IT project manager, or IT product manager.
• Knowledge of GxP, regulatory compliance, and computer system validation (CSV).
• Basic programming knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure (hardware, software, databases, networks, cloud).
• Proficiency in agile and waterfall development methodologies.
• Business-level English proficiency, including conference facilitation and large-scale presentations.
• Proven execution, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
