Regeneron is expanding its international footprint by establishing a new Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, India, in addition to our existing Bangalore office. We are seeking a Senior Director, HR Business Partner, who will serve as the GCC HR Head and lead HR business partnering activities across India. In this role, you will shape and execute the India HR strategy, advise the GCC Leadership Team, oversee locally based HR colleagues supporting global teams, and partner closely with Global HR Centers of Excellence to deliver effective and efficient HR services. You will help strengthen Regeneron’s high-performance culture, the Regeneron Way, while supporting the continued growth of our India organization and GCC capabilities.

Discover your role:
Take overall responsibility for the strategic and operational leadership of Regeneron’s HR function in India, while contributing to global and regional HR priorities.
Develop and execute the India HR strategy, creating solutions that attract, develop, engage, and retain talent through a strong employer brand, market-competitive total rewards, and agile HR practices.
Partner with business leaders, employees, and HR colleagues on workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, development, inclusion, employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, and change management.
Serve as a member of the GCC Leadership Team, advising the GCC Head and helping shape the strategy required for the centre to reach its full potential.
Lead the daily administration and continuous improvement of core HR activities, including onboarding, talent development, performance management, employee relations, reward, HR policy, engagement, and employee welfare.
Provide leadership, coaching, support, and development to India-based HR colleagues, promoting professional standards, capability building, knowledge sharing, engagement, and retention.
Partner with Global HR Centers of Excellence, including Employee Services, HR Operations and Technology, People Analytics and Insights, Talent Management, and Total Rewards, to deliver locally appropriate and globally aligned programs.
Oversee the day-to-day management and prioritization of locally based HR COE leaders and teams, support blocking issues, and collaborate with Global COE leaders to maximize team impact.
Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation, regulations, professional standards, company policies, and procedures.
Coach and support senior leaders and high-potential colleagues, while enabling managers to address workforce matters and effectively navigate the annual performance cycle.
Partner with technology teams to develop and enhance market-appropriate HR systems, including Workday and ServiceNow.
Manage the HR budget for the India entity.
Partner with Regeneron’s Law Department on statutory and employee-related matters, lead employee relations investigations, and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are completed.
Translate business needs into actionable HR priorities, systems, and solutions, while sharing standard processes across the International HR Business Partner team and the extended HR Operations and Solutions Leadership Team.
Drive continuous improvement by using data, root-cause analysis, and pragmatic solutions to improve productivity, strengthen leadership capability, and create an effective employee experience.
This role requires:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, a scientific discipline, or a related field; an MBA or master’s degree in Organization Development or Human Resources is preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of HR experience, including experience in an HR or management role within the Indian pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry.
Experience working in a global organization and establishing and growing a Global Capability Centre.
Broad experience across multiple HR teams, such as Total Rewards, HR Operations, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Development.
Experience supporting or leading across multiple sites is preferred.
Proven expertise in talent acquisition and talent development within a technically driven organization.
A proven record of initiative, sound prioritization, and an entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to deliver outcomes effectively.
Ability to diagnose sophisticated organizational and people challenges, conduct root-cause analysis, and use data to develop pragmatic solutions.
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical capability, with confidence using Microsoft 365 applications, HRIS platforms, and other people-related systems.
Learning agility and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity, translating sophisticated people and data issues into clear, coherent solutions.
Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills, including the courage to challenge established ways of working and focus on doing the right thing.
Significant understanding of HR legal and compliance requirements.
