Senior Manager, HR Business Partner - based in Spain

We are seeking a Senior Manager Human Resources Business Partner to join our Human Resources team, supporting our international Commercial business in Spain and potentially also in additional locations. In this role, you will deliver end-to-end HR partnership, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness while collaborating with business leaders, HR Centers of Excellence, and Legal. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.

Hybrid work model (3 days / week on site)

Discover your role:

  • Deliver end-to-end HR support across Spain and potentially additional locations.

  • Manage employee relations cases, investigations, and follow-up actions.

  • Lead works council, trade union, and social dialogue engagement.

  • Partner with leaders on workforce priorities and people solutions.

  • Support recruitment, interviews, contracts, onboarding, and talent reviews.

  • Drive organizational development initiatives across teams and affiliates.

  • Partner on compensation benchmarking, pay cycles, and career frameworks.

  • You build pragmatic solutions using data, insight, and business understanding.

This role requires:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of equivalent experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • Minimum 8 years of HR experience, including biopharma, biotech, or pharmaceutical environments.

  • Ideally, experience supporting an international commercial organization.

  • Deep labor relations expertise, including works councils, employee representatives, and collective bargaining agreements.

  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance, regulatory requirements, and European statutory employment matters.

  • Experience across the full HR spectrum, from administration to strategic business partnering.

  • Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory, additional languages i.e. French / German / Italian are a plus.

  • Strong data literacy and proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Suite.

  • Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, negotiate, influence, and challenge constructively.
