Regeneron is seeking a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support Regeneron’s R&PD (Research and Preclinical Development). This role will report into the Director, HR Business Partner.

At Regeneron, an HRBP develops solutions to solve business challenges in order to increase our ability to deliver on our mission – utilizing science to bring new medicines to patients. You’ll partner with other HRBPs, COE functions within HR, and other key stakeholders to provide support and counsel to business managers and employees on organizational and people-related issues, including talent acquisition & planning, onboarding and development, employee engagement, culture, performance management, and change management – all in service of promoting and maintaining REGN’s high-performance culture, the Regeneron Way.

Key to this role is your ability to quickly build trusted relationships with people at every level within R&PD, along with a strong partnership with your Sr. HRBPs and COE partners. You’re comfortable challenging the status quo, influencing scientifically trained leaders, and delivering key HRBP support in a fast-paced culture. Being able to pivot is essential. This role acts as both a champion and a coach for our expanding business.

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Tarrytown, New York
  • Onsite requirement: 4 days per week

Discover your role:

  • Partner with HRBP Leadership to identify and plan key HR work for the business functions, working across all client groups
  • Work with managers and employees to help solve employee relations and people-related challenges, keeping precedent and business needs in mind, including partnering with internal HR specialists
  • Handle conflicts, investigations, and employee grievances
  • Coach managers and employees, helping them understand their options in each situation and how to demonstrate the Regeneron Way
  • Participate in interviews for key positions and candidate debriefs to help drive the best hiring decisions in a rapidly expanding organization
  • Onboard new managers by partnering with hiring managers to facilitate and support a successful onboarding experience
  • Identify individual and team needs within client areas and partner with the OD Consulting team to craft solutions that address business needs (e.g., team building)
  • Partner with Total Rewards to define new roles, identify external comparable/market value of positions, and support other reward and recognition programs
  • Partner with managers to support year-end performance calibrations as well as year-end compensation in Workday
  • Provide ad hoc project support (e.g., career ladders, re-organization projects)

This role requires:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with a scientific or HR-related discipline preferred; an advanced degree such as an MBA or a Master’s in OD/IO or Human Resources is also preferred
  • 8+ years of direct HR experience, with experience working within the pharma/biopharma/biotech industry highly preferred
  • Ability to quickly develop trusted relationships with peers and employees at all levels
  • Comfort challenging the status quo in a growing team and influencing scientific and technical leaders
  • Learning agility and comfort with a high level of ambiguity
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to identify problems and deliver solutions that benefit employees
  • Exceptional employee relations skills and experience

Salary Range (annually)

$134,400.00 - $219,200.00
