As a child, I was always the one questioning, “Why?” I wanted to know how things worked and how they were going to be used. That curiosity never left me.

While working in research after medical school, I began asking questions about the medicines we were giving to patients. I wanted to know how they got to us—how all the pieces fit together in the drug development cycle.

Today in my role in Global Patient Safety at Regeneron, I am involved in the end-to-end spectrum of the product lifecycle. We are involved in the conversations about how a clinical trial is set up, the key data needed from that study and the assessment and analysis of those data. After the medicine is approved, we continue to protect patients by looking at data from postmarketing studies, patient support programs, and that are reported directly by the patients and/or healthcare professionals.

THE PASSION THAT DRIVES MDS TO HELP PEOPLE CAN BE PUT TO USE IN WAYS YOU’VE NEVER CONSIDERED OR IMAGINED.

I collect meaningful answers here every day. We evaluate which medicines to move forward with and which should be put to the side based on reported and aggregated data. Regeneron is a patient-focused place where medical information is truly valued, as it was basically established by MDs. We let data lead us, only pursuing therapies that have strong safety data.

Although MDs at Regeneron may not be at a patient's bedside, we often hear how a patient’s life has been transformed by a medicine we helped develop. You can see the impact that solutions we are developing have on patients, and you can reach even more people than you could in a clinical setting. The passion that drives MDs to help people can be put to use in ways you’ve never considered or imagined.

There is opportunity here to tap into your clinical, research and business knowledge. There are many people, like me, who have traveled along the typical path for a physician and felt right at home at Regeneron.

When I came here in 2018, I was looking for a company that I could grow with. You get to work across different therapeutic areas and be on the cutting edge of drug development. As a person with endless curiosity, this is a great place to work and learn. I have never stopped learning here, and there’s still so much to explore.
