We are seeking a Marketing Manager to help lead our local marketing initiatives!
Reporting directly to the Country Marketing Lead in Japan, this team will handle driving brand marketing activities for both currently commercialized indications and future launches. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional and cross-regional collaborators to ensure the detailed execution of strategic and tactical brand plans. In this role, a typical day might include the following:
Providing input into the development of the global brand strategy, functional plans, and budget.
Delivering the local brand planning design including analyzing the competitive landscape, identifying key promotional opportunities, and developing customer-centric and differentiated messages to key target audiences.
Collaborating with local counterparts in Medical Affairs to build and agree on an aligned brand strategy.
Implementing promotional activities defined in the brand plan.
Analyzing drivers and barriers of brand performance and identifying actions to address opportunities or risks.
Crafting and delivering external collaborator engagement plans in coordination with your colleagues.
Crafting local promotional materials aligned with the local and global brand plans for use by the sales force and via digital channels.
Working with the Sales Team in the development and implementation of the Field Plan of Action, national/regional sales meeting execution, and Field communications.

In order to be considered, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of biotech/pharma brand marketing experience. Expertise in handling ad agencies, developing annual budgets, and a deep understanding of local healthcare compliance codes are essential. Oncology marketing experience is required, and launch experience is a plus. Strong integrity, ethics, and excellent English language skills are also necessary. The ability to travel 20% - 30% of the time is required.
