We are seeking an experienced and motivated Scientist to join the Bispecific group, a multidisciplinary team that designs and evaluates novel bispecific and alternative antibody formats across multiple therapeutic areas. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing preclinical experiments to evaluate the efficacy and explore the mechanism of action of immune modulating antibodies to treat cancer.

As a Scientist in the Bispecific Hematology team, a typical day might include the following:

  • Designing, planning, and executing in-vitro cell-based functional assays using mouse and human primary or engineered cells (molecular biology assays such as AlphaLISA, ELISA/MSD, flow cytometry, immune cell proliferation/cytotoxicity assay)

  • Maintaining and culturing cells

  • Conducing in-vivo experiments using mouse models

  • Isolating immune cells from mouse and human tissues for further functional and phenotypic characterization

  • Performing injections through various routes (intraperitoneal, intravenous, subcutaneous). collecting blood, and isolating mouse tissues

  • Performing ex-vivo immunophenotyping using multicolor flow cytometry

  • Analyzing data using FlowJo, Excel, Prism and algorithmic tools for high-dimensional cytometry data analysis (OMIQ, tSNE, etc)

  • Synthesizing results across experiments and programs to present to colleagues and senior management, including clinical and regulatory teams

To be considered for this role, you must have a BS/MS degree i with at least 6+ years of experience working in an immune-oncology laboratory or a related field. Experience with tissue culture (maintenance of transformed and primary cells), in-vitro/ex-vivo immune cell-based assays, multicolor flow cytometry, and in-vitro modification of cell lines or primary mouse and human cells (e.g. transfection, transduction) required. Experience working in-vivo/with mouse models required, including injections (IV, IP, SC), dissection of mouse organs, tissue and blood collection, etc. Experience with tumor modeling in mice is advantageous. Strong molecular and cellular biology knowledge preferable.

Salary Range (annually)

$90,700.00 - $148,100.00
