External Manufacturing Project Management Specialist

We are currently looking to fill an External Manufacturing Project Management Specialist position. Responsible for supporting the External Manufacturing Project Management team by maintaining and continuously improving various project systems and group productivity overall. The Project Management Specialist will work with Department leaders and Project Operations Manager to assess and improve methods for information sharing and knowledge management within the team. They will help ensure consistent use of project systems and tools. Additionally, this role will assist the department Project Operations Manager in coordination and maintenance of routine project reports, metrics, resource calculators and dashboards as well as facilitating routine meetings as needed.

As a Project Management Specialist, a typical day might include the following:

  • Coordinating the generation of the Bi-Weekly Project Status Report by working with Project Managers and Department Leaders on content and meticulous formatting

  • Coordinating the agenda of a Bi-Weekly Drug Product Project Review and Project Stage Gate meetings based on understanding and awareness of business-critical topics that are directly supported by the EM PM team

  • Organizing and maintaining the EM-PM SharePoint site, Teams Pages, OneDrive, and Department Intranet site (RON)

  • Performing assessments to ensure that project and metric data are consistent and accurate across the External Manufacturing Project Management team

  • Maintaining the organizational structure of shared databases

  • Supporting leadership team on continuous improvement initiatives

  • Partnering with Information Technology, Business Operations, and other Project Management teams within IOPS to keep current on knowledge sharing tools

  • Have excellent computer skills in multiple types of software including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Word, Access, SharePoint, and/or other project management software, and are comfortable working on web sites

  • Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members and leadership with tact and diplomacy

  • Are able to effectively work in cross-functional teams

  • Can handle multiple priorities/tasks with strong time management skills

To be considered you must have the following education and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, computer, library science, business, or physical/biological science; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Associate Specialist – 0-2 years of relevant experience

  • Specialist – 2-5 years of relevant experience

  • Sr Specialist - 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Project management experience a plus

The salary ranges provided are shown in accordance with U.S. law and apply to U.S. based positions, where the hired candidate will be located in the U.S. If you are outside the U.S, please speak with your recruiter about salaries and benefits in your location.

Salary Range (annually)

$58,480.40 - $124,300.00
