The QA Project Specialist supports the achievement of Quality Assurance (QA) objectives by planning, coordinating and leading project activities. This role manages cross-functional projects as both a facilitator and organizer, using knowledge within the pharmaceutical industry and project management techniques.

A typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Leading cross-functional projects and developing project timelines

  • Identifying and leading project priorities and cross-project dependencies

  • Collaborating with functional leads/subject matter experts in driving execution and removing constraints that prevent advancement of efforts/projects

  • Proactively engaging in activities to meet schedules and resolve issues

  • Identifying skills needed for project management and deploying and maintaining trainings and/or tools

  • Developing and managing content by obtaining relevant information through research and/or collaboration with subject matter experts

  • Partnering with the areas that QA support to identify areas for improvement that have the most impact across IOPS

  • Measuring the effectiveness of QA processes and tools with the goal of continuously improving to further engage stakeholders

  • Establishing appropriate goals and objectives, and business measurements for QA

  • Supporting QA project initiatives for a broad range of topics as the team evolves

This role might be for you if:

  • You possess high computer literacy with capability in email, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and related project, business, and communication tools

  • You are motivated, independent, self-sufficient, and able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal direction

  • You have excellent time and project management skills with the ability to manage many diverse assignments simultaneously and changing priorities

  • You are skilled in motivating, presenting with and teaching/training others, using both technical and non-technical language to explain sophisticated subjects and processes

  • You are familiar with project management methodologies

  • You demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidence to work effectively with employees from all levels of the organization

  • You possess strong collaborative skills with the ability to seek and value input

  • You demonstrate sound judgment, initiative, and interest in creative problem-solving

  • You possess excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills for a variety of audiences

  • You are able to consistently achieve high quality and compliant deliverables

  • You possess an understanding of biologics manufacturing operations

To be considered for this opportunity you should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and the following minimum amounts of relevant experience for each level:

  • Specialist – 2+ years

  • Senior Specialist – 5+ years

  • Principal Specialist – 7+ years

May substitute proven experience for education requirement. Level is determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.
