We are currently looking to fill a Senior Project Specialist- Manufacturing Planning position. Using manufacturing and project management expertise within the drug development industry, the Large-Scale Manufacturing Senior Project Specialist serves as the manufacturing representative across business functions and Regeneron locations, to manage project activities within the Large-Scale Manufacturing (LSM) department.

In this role, a typical day might include the following:

  • Collaborates with cross-functional leadership to create the strategic 5-year vision for specific focus areas in LSM - including but limited to manufacturing equipment, facility, inspection readiness, manufacturing equipment, manufacturing process - and ensures execution in a timely manner to meet the needs of the department

  • As a leader without direct authority, manages multiple projects concurrently with outputs that elicit meaningful change

  • Recognizes opportunities for improvement in existing business processes across the organization; conveys the needs in a emotionally savvy way to gain consensus while not being divisive to existing process owners

  • Spearheads high-priority initiatives within LSM; sets the urgency and priority necessary to see tangible change

  • Administers effective, accurate, and timely communication across functional departments and Regeneron locations, serving as a primary point of contact for LSM related activities

  • Ensures global alignment of processes, procedures and methods of commercial manufacturing

  • Applies understanding of project and program management principles, concepts, techniques and standards

  • Becomes involved as required to meet schedules and resolve problems, having the broad knowledge to deep dive into issues when guidance is required

  • Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between functions and/or organizations

Education and Experience:

Senior Specialist: Requires BS/BA degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years relevant work experience, including prior project management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience; PMP certification is a plus.

Relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of educational requirement.

Salary Range (annually)

$76,100.00 - $124,300.00
