As a Sr EHS Specialist you would perform EHS tasks as required to ensure Regeneron's compliance with Environmental Health and Safety regulatory requirements, policies and procedures.

In this role a typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Maintaining an EHS Management System Programme with specific emphasis on safe systems of work programmes including permit to work
  • Assisting with developing and implementing appropriate emergency plans and response capabilities as directed by ERT Lead
  • Working with IOPS Raheen stakeholders to ensure EHS programs are implemented within their relevant department
  • Leading EHS audits and inspections, and coordinating follow up on findings with the appropriate agencies or groups
  • Staying updated on new and updated EHS regulations, including new industry developments (i.e. best practices)
  • Building relationships with key departments to foster support for a strong EHS culture

To be considered for this opportunity you should hold a BS/ BA in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or related field with 6+ years of experience working in an EHS role within the pharmaceutical industry. A thorough knowledge of EHS legislation for a pharmaceutical facility operating within Ireland/Europe is preferrable. Operational Safety Experience: Safe Systems of Work is required. This role can be considered at other levels depending on experience and education.
