The Associate Director of Pricing and Contracting Strategy (Ophthalmology) will report to the Director of Pricing and Contracting Strategy (Ophthalmology) within the Market Access organization.
This role will support all aspects of the development of US pricing and contracting strategies for the Ophthalmic franchise within Regeneron, maximizing patient access, and working to achieve the Ophthalmology Commercial Business Unit brand goals.
A Typical Day Might Look Like the Following:
Working with cross-functional team members, the Associate Director will drive strategic pricing and contracting discussions proactively to identify opportunities and barriers and provide business-critical data/research driven recommendations to the Commercial and Market Access leadership.
In collaboration with the Market Access Strategy, GPO Account Management, and Payer teams, the Associate Director will support strategy development, quarterly business reporting, and lead ASP forecasting and contract deal analysis across Provider and Payer Channels to shape and influence the recommendations in a cohesive and clear manner.
The individual will also closely monitor contract performance, ASP and GTN trends, and market and policy dynamics to identify key leading indicators that may necessitate proactive or reactive pricing and contracting actions.
The Associate Director will also collaborate closely with Accounting and Finance to inform quarterly GTN reconciliations and forecasts and support Quarterly Business Review needs.

Ability to work cross-functionally to develop innovative contract designs, build business cases, and influence key decisions
Deep knowledge and experience of U.S. Buy & Bill dynamics coupled with strong Excel modeling skills
Knowledge of standard Payer / Provider research methodologies, price-access tradeoff assessments, and financial analyses (including ASP and GTN implications)
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate data into strategy
Must be highly motivated with strong interpersonal and communications skills
Aptitude to handle multiple tasks and effectively prioritize to meet organizational goals.
Must be able to produce high quality, accurate work under time constraints.
Ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional and cross-team ties to influence colleagues
To be considered for this position, you must have 7-10+ years of experience in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry and at least 2-3 years of prior experience in the pharmaceutical/bio-tech pricing and contracting strategy and analytics area. Experience with Payer medical benefit contracting and deal analysis is a plus.
