As a Scientist, a typical day may include:
Working with various imaging modalities such as MRI, PET, CT, microscopy, digital pathology
Applying third-party software and custom Python solutions to analyze and interpret biomedical images, learning new techniques as you navigate through different imaging modalities and biological applications
Adhering to strong engineering practices, including code documentation and usage of version control, within a cloud computing environment
Playing a crucial role in data annotation and quality control to ensure the integrity and reliability of our research data
Actively participating in regular team meetings, presenting your findings and contributing to discussions on project progress, future directions, and timeline estimations
Assisting in the preparation of internal data presentations, ensuring all findings are clearly communicated and documented
This role may be for you if:

To be considered for this role, you must have at least a BS/MS with 5-7+ years of experience in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar related field. Must have proficiency in Python programming and fundamentals of computer science, and familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques. An ideal candidate would have experience analyzing biomedical imaging data using commercial and open source software tools (e.g. ImageJ, HALO, QuPath, CellProfiler, Imaris, Amira) and understanding of fundamental principles of image processing (e.g., image filtering, classic segmentation techniques, image registration). Understanding of mathematics relevant to quantitative image analysis (optimization, regression, statistics, signal processing, cluster analysis, general machine learning, etc.) is preferred.
Level will be commensurate with experience.
