Job Description
We are seeking Scientist to join our dynamic, and multidisciplinary Vaccine Technology group in Bispecifics. The successful candidate will support the development of therapeutic cancer vaccines in preclinical mouse models. This role requires an individual with extensive experience in mouse handling and tissue processing. Additional expertise with functional immune cell assays and basic cell culture techniques is preferable.
As a Scientist in the Cancer Vaccine Team, a typical day might include the following:
Establish in vivo syngeneic/xenograft tumor models, perform tumor growth measurements and mouse injections (i.v., s.c., i.p, i.m.)
Collect blood (retroobital, submandibular, terminal bleeds) and harvest immune organs for subsequent ex vivo analysis
Perform cell culture and functional assays (e.g. ELISpot) on primary mouse cells, including blood, spleen, lymph nodes and tumor immune cells
Perform data analysis, record results in electronic notebook, and present data at internal/external team meetings

To be considered for this position the candidate should have a PhD with 4-6, an MS with 8-10+or a BS with 12+ years relevant experience in immunology, cancer biology, vaccines or related field. Proven experience in mouse handling, tumor implantation/growth studies, proficiency in mouse injections (i.v., s.c., i.p, i.m.), and tissue cell culture is required. Experience with murine T cell functional assays and primary cell assays is preferred.
