Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Associate Scientist to join our Antibody Therapeutic group. In this role, you will carry out label-free quantitative analysis of macromolecular interaction for therapeutic monoclonal antibodies development programs.
As a Senior Associate Scientist, a typical day may include:
Independently design, execute, and troubleshoot SPR and BLI-based assays, including binding kinetics, blocking, affinity, competition, and epitope binning
Supporting Antibody Discovery interaction using Biacore and complementary label-free real-time technologies for protein reagents validation, upstream antibody screening, and late stage therapeutic antibody leads characterization
Perform routine biosensor (SPR/BLI) based biomolecular interaction experiments, data analysis
Maintain the operation of label free instruments.

In order to be considered for this role, you must have at least a BS/MS with 3-5+ years of relevant experience in related field. We need someone with experience using protein purification (HPLC, FLPC, ion-exchange, affinity, size exclusion chromatography, and protein conjugation chemistry) and protein analysis techniques (SDS-PAGE, Western-blot, ELISA). A solid understanding of structural biology, biophysics, and chemical biology is advantageous. Knowledge and experience in using biophysical methodologies, such as Biacore, Octet, or ITC, to study protein/small molecule- protein interaction and binding kinetics preferred. Experience with in-vitro molecular interaction/characterization using biosensor such as Biacore/Octet a plus.
