Manager, Biostatistics (Tarrytown, NY)

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Biostatistics (Tarrytown, NY) to work with cross-functional teams to articulate drug development questions, assess the feasibility of endpoints and frame statistical approaches to address those questions, design clinical experiments and interventional studies to generate the requisite data and analyze the resulting data, and work with teams to appropriately interpret the results and make decisions. Work independently and be mentored by more experienced project statisticians to co-author clinical study protocols, co-author statistical analysis plans, and perform statistical analyses for interim and final reports. Develop and deliver training to non-statistical colleagues, collaborate on development of new infrastructure and processes, and influence the external pharmaceutical industry and regulatory environment through participation in professional associations, conferences, and publications. 5% travel domestic required.

SALARY RANGE: $121,200.00 - $197,800.00 per year

Job Requirements:

Requires a PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics or a closely related field and 2 years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. Must have experience with: Statistical simulation, high-performance computing, linear and nonlinear models, and data-driven drug development; Functional data analysis, principal component analysis, non-parametric density estimation, longitudinal models for zero-inflated data, joint model estimation for survival and continuous outcome, composite endpoint development in rare disease drug development, machine learning and neural networks; Statistical software including SAS, R and Python; Drug discovery and development and ability to integrate statistical concepts into drug discovery and development strategies; Record of published manuscript in peer reviewed statistical/medical journals; CDISC data standard; Estimand framework in regulatory submission; Clinical database lock and clinical study report development; and Statistical support for DSUR and DMC.
