Job Description
The Building Management Systems (BMS) Manager will assume two distinct roles: provide leadership and oversight of a currently operational building automation system and be responsible for the design, installation, and commissioning of a new building automation systems. Handling management, operation, and support of interoperable Facilities Engineering systems, you will create and/or develop data collection and analytic methods for disparate Engineering systems. Develop system usage policies and operational procedures, working closely with local, State, and Federal agencies as needed. On call 24/7 for emergency response.
As a Manager, Building Management Systems a typical day might include:
Responsibility for the day to day management of the Tarrytown site BAS and related systems.
Developing and maintaining BAS architecture, performing design review for active and future projects for multiple site locations
Leading a team of onsite BAS technicians and workflows associated with a daily work process
Developing and running BAS preventive maintenance programs for multiple sites
Using CMMS systems to track and administer all planned and unplanned work related to the BAS
BMS Manager will have the overall responsibility of operating and handling all BAS
Work alongside system engineers, programmers, field technicians, subcontractors and other building personnel

Have a Bachelor's Degree
You are a problem solver on technical challenges
You have strong interactive communication and negotiation skills and apply your extensive knowledge of building automation systems, HVAC systems, building construction, and contracting
You have worked closely with the groups responsible for Corporate Social Responsibility programs and have provided data, reports, analytics, etc. in support of initiatives and directives
