The Building Management Systems (BMS) Manager will assume two distinct roles: provide leadership and oversight of a currently operational building automation system and be responsible for the design, installation, and commissioning of a new building automation systems. Handling management, operation, and support of interoperable Facilities Engineering systems, you will create and/or develop data collection and analytic methods for disparate Engineering systems. Develop system usage policies and operational procedures, working closely with local, State, and Federal agencies as needed. On call 24/7 for emergency response.

As a Manager, Building Management Systems a typical day might include:

  • Responsibility for the day to day management of the Tarrytown site BAS and related systems.

  • Developing and maintaining BAS architecture, performing design review for active and future projects for multiple site locations

  • Leading a team of onsite BAS technicians and workflows associated with a daily work process

  • Developing and running BAS preventive maintenance programs for multiple sites

  • Using CMMS systems to track and administer all planned and unplanned work related to the BAS

  • BMS Manager will have the overall responsibility of operating and handling all BAS

  • Work alongside system engineers, programmers, field technicians, subcontractors and other building personnel

This role might be for you if:

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree

  • You are a problem solver on technical challenges

  • You have strong interactive communication and negotiation skills and apply your extensive knowledge of building automation systems, HVAC systems, building construction, and contracting

  • You have worked closely with the groups responsible for Corporate Social Responsibility programs and have provided data, reports, analytics, etc. in support of initiatives and directives

Salary Range (annually)

$108,200.00 - $176,600.00
