We are seeking a Sourcing Manager to be responsible to support and assist with the sourcing activities and development of Category Management strategies by gathering requirements and supply needs and specifications for indirect goods/services and categories. This role works collaboratively with the Category Lead and business unit partners to competitively assess the global supply base capabilities and qualifications for Regeneron’s interests. The Sourcing Manager leads the supplier relationship, actively participates in supplier selection, and handles ongoing contracting, administrative, performance and service delivery. This role will be the primary SS&P contact within Regeneron global locations and will handle some US requirements.

A typical day might include:


  • Develops and executes global/local sourcing strategies for the respective area of spend responsibility and optimises value within the organisation.
  • Responsible to manage all aspects of sourcing events including, but not limited to; negotiating and administering compiles contracts and terms. Request for Proposals/Quotes/Information (RFP, RFQ, RFI, collectively RFx).


  • Responsible for negotiating the commercial terms of contractual agreements with suppliers/spend under management, including but not limited to pricing, delivery, payment terms, quality and privacy terms/requirements.
  • Partner with the law department, quality, risk management, privacy and supply chain to uniformly support the inclusion of relevant of contractual terms and conditions.


  • Leads Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) initiatives such as, conducting performance meetings, driving the development and use of scorecards, working with team members to review performance metrics, and managing supplier relationships to achieve the goals of the category strategy.
  • Develops and implements strategies to drive supplier performance objectives and contracted outcomes are delivered, e.g.savings, SLAs, delivery, quality, etc.

Continuous Improvement

  • Support continuous improvements of the source-to-contract process. This may include, responding to audit information requests, participating in compliance reviews, and working collaboratively with the sourcing/category team on department and company-wide initiatives.
  • Participate in and/or submit at least one, or more continuous improvement ideas per year in the CI SharePoint under JDI or SLIMMY initiative types.

This role might be for you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s plus 7+ years of relevant, progressive direct sourcing experience OR Master’s plus 5+ years of relevant, progressive experience, to preferably include 3 years directly in sourcing.
  • CPSM/CPM preferred
  • Working knowledge with Sourcing Contracting, ERP, eRFX systems preferred. (Oracle, Zycus, iCertis, Other)
  • Cost modelling knowledge
  • Bilingual (english preferred)
