Regeneron's PMPD Analytics group, located in Tarrytown NY is seeking a motivated Process Development Engineer II. The PMPD Analytics group conducts analytical testing of samples generated throughout process development. The group achieves its mission through a focus on efficiency and automation, backed by a sound understanding of the scientific principles underlying our work. A Typical Day in the Role Might Look Like:

  • Develop, implement, and troubleshoot automated analytical assays on liquid handlers and integrated platforms for routine sample characterization.
  • Optimize and verify performance of automated liquid handlers and various integrated platforms.
  • Contribute innovative solutions to increase efficiency to improve sample throughput and data quality.
  • Collaborate with team members and cross functional groups to actively adapt and meet customer needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on new technologies and evaluate how adopting new equipment will impact workflows.
  • Participate in projects in support of data automation.
  • Collaborates within PMPD and functionally-related groups, including departmental management and external groups or vendors.
  • Mentor directly or indirectly by leading, guiding, and assisting peers, co-op students, and interns.
  • Maintain compliance for all laboratory work and documentation related to automated assay verifications in accordance with regulations and company SOPs. Assist in maintaining cleanliness, safety requirements and compliance in the laboratory.

This role requires a BS/MS in an Science/Engineering or related field with 5+/3+ years of automation experience. Direct experience programming, operating, and troubleshooting liquid handlers such as Hamilton and Tecan is required. Experience with integrated platforms such as: Cellario, Green Button Go, or Overlord is preferred. Must have strong communication and organizational skills and easily adapt to a constantly evolving fast-paced environment.

$88,500.00 - $144,500.00
