The Data Enablement and Analytics team, within the Preclinical Manufacturing and Process Development (PMPD) organization, provides the management and continuous improvement of data systems, and delivers digital, data & analytics platforms and solutions in support of the “Science to Process” mission, making data usable and useful! We are seeking a versatile Process Development Engineer II responsible for delivering on our IT data management strategy by supporting process developers to bring new medicines to patients. In this role you will be provided a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of implementing streamlined solutions for PMPD, so process developers can focus on process development and less on finding the data to drive their day-to-day.

A Typical Day in the Role Might Look Like:

  • Serving as a business liaison between process developers and IT group to document difficulties in daily tasks as well as enabling resolutions provided by IT
  • Establishing standard methodologies around existing business processes to improve visibility and accountability of the IT data management team’s solution delivery strategy
  • Managing data requests and routing appropriately for timely resolution
  • Continuously learning from process developers on their daily routine to better advocate for their IT data needs

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience in data management. Exposure to working within a scaled agile framework for enterprise (SAFe) environment and the software/system development life cycle (SDLC) preferred. Familiarity with critical data systems such as ELN or LIMS is preferred but not required. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills to explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of audiences, including senior management preferred. A good understanding of biologics manufacturing processes (e.g. cell culture and purification), and associated data aggregation and consumption need is a plus. Familiarity with Atlassian products (e.g. JIRA and Confluence) or similar, preferred. Working knowledge of SharePoint site maintenance/design is a plus. Experience in customer service and customer empathy is valued. Product management experience is nice to have but not required.

$88,500.00 - $144,500.00
