Job Description
In this role you will facilitate various improvement initiatives, execute organizational capability development and manag projects as required. You will work collaboratively and develop extensive knowledge of processes to analyze the flow of work.
As a Continuous Improvement Specialist a typical day might include but is not limited to the following:
- Independently facilitate and support cross-site / cross-functional continuous improvements projects, and structured problem solving activities working to eliminate waste.
- Develop the Continuous Improvement capabilities of the organisation by developing, deploying and delivering effective instructor led training for employees.
- Work with teams to support the CI Culture at Regeneron.
- Prepare, distribute & present project status reports to project team members and management
- Develop and support systems to foster accountability and recognition of continuous improvement efforts.
- Take seed ideas and nurture them into improvements across the operations; initiate continuous improvement methodologies.
- Act as a Continuous Improvement Business Partner to a specific organizational group within IOPS to identify and support improvement efforts.
Knowledge and Skills include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Strong understanding and application of CI Problem Solving techniques and Lean tools
- Ability to plan, prepare, execute and facilitate Kaizen events throughout their lifecycle.
- Ability to define problems, collect and analyse data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to think creatively and proactively propose solutions with an attention to detail.
To be considered for this opportunity you are required to have a BS/BA in a scientific or business discipline and 2+ years of relevant experience, or a MS/MBA and 2 years of relevant experience with a strong knowledge of continuous improvement / Lean approaches. Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
