Job Description
Regeneron's Therapeutic Proteins Bioassay Group, located in Tarrytown, NY, seeks a highly motivated and passionate Sr. Scientist to join our team.
In this role, you will focus on developing cell-based assays and high throughput screening methods to support the identification of therapeutic antibodies, chimeric antigen receptors (CARs), and T cell receptors (TCRs) that target major histocompatibility complex (MHC) presented tumor antigens.
A Typical Day In the Role of Sr Scientist Might Look Like:
- Develop, optimize, and execute high throughput cell-based assays (viability/cytotoxicity, luciferase reporter, cytokine release, flow cytometry, imaging)
- Isolate, phenotype, and expand human T cells
- Develop in vitro T cell functional assays
- Cell line engineering (over-expression via Lentiviral transduction/CRISPR mediated KO/KI)
- Lead, guide, and work with other Scientists to support multi-functional teams
- Communicate/coordinate activities, prepare and present data in cross-functional meetings
- Stay ahead of technological/scientific developments
This Role Might Be For You If You Have:

- Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills
This role requires a PhD in Immunology or related field and 0-3+ years, an MS with 5+ or a BS with 8+ years of relevant experience. Experience engineering cell lines is needed. Experience culturing T cells a plus. Flow cytometry expertise a plus. The ideal candidate should have experience developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting immune cell functional assays and a background in MHC/TCR biology.
