Job Description
The international senior tax manager ensures the accurate reporting associated with tax related requirements in compliance with various local country relevant laws and regulations. You will also assist in the quarterly and annual tax section of the SEC reporting requirement of the Company. You also must ensure the company is paying proper taxes for international corporate income tax and VAT. This includes coordinating the requesting, gathering, and analyzing of financial information to successfully and efficiently generate tax returns, as well as maintaining supporting work papers and files while providing a clear audit trail to source and support documentation.
JOB DUTIES:
Lead all aspects of international income tax reporting and compliance, including being the direct liaison with various government tax authorities.
Review all international quarterly and annual tax provision, roll forward of all international tax accounts and calculate FIN 48 reserves quarterly in accordance with ASC 740.
Lead external tax advisors in the completion tax returns, and VAT compliance obligations.
Research various income tax and VAT issues and draft memorandums to support position.
Establish strong professional business relationships with applicable finance, research and development and supply chain personnel to stay on top of business needs and changes.
Assist the domestic tax group with global transfer pricing documentation.
Assist the domestic tax group with the country-by country analysis and reporting in accordance with BEPS/OCED requirements.
Support the domestic tax group in various international planning opportunities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The international tax manager generally has access to many different company financial documents to guarantee the accurate taxes are being paid. You must be highly organized to keep track of these files, and you must follow any relevant company privacy rules and privacy laws.
Minimum Years of Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 - 7 years’ of meaningful experience
- Extensive knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel
