Job Description
Contribute to the financial success of EYLEA® (aflibercept) Injection and reports to the Business Unit Head. Supports strategic and operational activities of the Commercial Business Unit. Serves as the point person to connect actives across CBU functions, global partner, and functions not reporting into the CBU.
In this role, a typical day might include the following:
Supports strategic and operational analysis as well as takes a lead role in driving large projects within the business, allowing for deep insight and access to the organizational strategy and direction
Drives weekly CBU Core Team Meetings by devising agenda, sends out pre-Reads, facilitates meeting and captures action items
Supports organization, facilitation and follow up to key CBU meetings, such as Business Reviews, Field and HQ Town Halls, etc.
Analyzes existing business strategy and derive recommendations
Tracks key deliverables for CBU and follows up with responsible individuals
Develops project plans and make suggestions regarding timelines and resources when appropriate
Coordinate launch readiness planning

Build comprehensive pre-launch plan and engage internal stakeholder
Collaborate across EYLEA Marketing functions on pre-launch planning
Identifies solutions that support operational efficiencies and effectiveness of CBU
Communicates project initiative status to leadership team, removing roadblocks when possible
Supports and leads innovation projects related to a variety of corporate initiatives and supportive of patient journey
Develops and supports communication efforts within and outside of CBU
Supports and builds cross-functional relationships with key functional partners across the organization and alliance
Handles and maintains highly confidential and sensitive information
To be considered you must have Bachelor's Degree, MBA a plus. A demonstrated knowledge and experience in marketing of biologics/high science products. Buy and bill experience. Experience in Ophthalmology preferred. Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver results. Understands US reimbursement environment including governmental programs -Medicare Part B. Prior launch experience. Experience tracking and managing budgets with finance counterparts. Strong interpersonal & presentation skills required. Demonstrated ability to deal with all levels of the organization. Must be willing to travel 25-30% (including weekend travel as needed). 12+ years of progressive experience in marketing and market access in life sciences.
